I never said anything about Troopers beating Revan or Traya, lol. I said they beat NS. Of course Troopers will lose to Revan and Traya on defense. That’s why you run them against NS to get an easy win on offense and then set a good team on defense.

I quoted you, not the OP. I wasn’t telling him to use troopers (though if he had them I would). Your posts aren’t exactly helping the OP either, by saying that you can get #1 in arena with your NS and you can beat Troopers on offense.

I use NS and I understand them perfectly well and looking at those I'm going up against I see no dramatic changes to before. I'm not a noob.

But even with mediocre mods you should be able to maintain top—200.

I have all my best mods on my arena team. I've been farming them and slicing them but speed is still elusive even after slicing as speed never seems to want to upgrade. Oh, and triangle and cross mods are like gold dust. The mod store is also next to useless. It may have a half-decent 4 dot mod every now and then. I've been in the top 200 for the past year whilst constantly upgrading my arena team. But it looks like I haven't been spending enough money. I better go sell a kidney or stop eating food.

I only have an issue if they are running acolyte. I use bastila lead and I shred all NS that use talia over acolyte

I was just raising the point because at the anniversary we were all give upgrade materials and now you are seeing the issue. It just seemed likely that players put a few zetas on that are giving them an advantage you may not have realized.

I understand but, as I said, I'm not a noob and do check on the teams I go up against. I can see no reason why teams that were at the same level as me a few days ago are now 10x harder to beat.

I know it's not the end of the world and I shouldn't be taking arena too seriously but all this added grind has my resources stretched to the limit. Losing any (unpaid) resources is like a kick in the teeth especially as I'm not F2P.

I happen to believe the current arena mechanic for farming more resources is unsustainable and only serves those who already have those resources. Hopefully, with the new PvP will have a more balanced matchmaking system that ultimately means everyone has a chance of gaining more resources and not just those who don't really need them.

Main thing with NS is following:
+ KI cant handle them and they win vs any combo on offense
+ 95% can beat them so they might drop like a rock unless they are perfectly modded/skilled/team combo

I had a decent NS squad when they first come out and then stopped using them for a while until the recent re work. I have since geared them up fully and now run a MT,AV,OD,NA,Zom team all G12 and well modded.
I can sometimes make the top 50 but ussually hover between 75 and 100. So I certainly don't think they are OP but IMO are the 3rd best all round team behind the the Revan/Traya.

I've been bumped to 500 now! I've been consistently in the top 200, now I'm struggling to break 400. Something is clearly not right!!!!
