Whats wrong with droid + poggle?

How is it not viable right now? 47+88+86+pog+poe
I don't see the problem...

Droids work well, dont know how the squad is at level 70. Tinygrimes is no authority

What if you replaced poe with han?

The droids do sound awesome on paper, but in reality they drop quick and fast even with my Poe at 140 something speed doofus and Sid go before him. Only 2 out of 5 characters in the group hit worth a damn, the IGs. Even with 86's ability to one shot with assist skill, they die way too fast by surviving enemies especially aoe and dooku counter attack

Don't listen to someone who does not run a droid team and don't have the data or research to back up his claim. he's just speculating that poe will be nerfed so much that he can't protect the droids.

There are 21 characters at max level that will get their turns before the fastesr droid (ig88). Enemy poe can make their entire team go before the droids, due to his taunt removing turn meter.

Some of the 21 that go before are leia, dooku, sid, rey, GS, qjg... you get the idea. Loads of dmg can go out long before the droids go. Your only hope would be if your poe goes first and taunts.

I run HK lead, 86, 88, and Poe. I consistently finish top three on my leaderboard, mostly 1st and 2nd. The only team I have a problem beating is another droid team with the same exact toons, but more stars than me. If my Poe go first, I can win, if his goes first, I have no chance. This guy has been at top of leaderboard with his droid team since I started playing.

Droids are a very strong team, especially with Poggle and Poe, and one of the fastest teams. Poe is a 7th round toon so he will tie for first action and go first on your team. His taunt lasts 2 turns, has chance to expose, and most importantly reduces enemy turn meter by 25%. Poggle goes next and gives offense up to everyone and speed up to droids. HKs leader skill has 30% crit chance and 30% turn meter bonus on a crit. They crit a lot. HK and 88 can get multiple crits in a round and go twice.

At lvl 61 Poe gets gear 8, and with one more piece, goes to 143 speed. This puts him in 7th round and gives a chance to go first.

I used Poe a few times before I had him to 143 speed and he was ok, but I wasn't that impressed. My Geo was a better choice. But, once he hit 143 speed, he becomes a beast and really makes a difference in a droid squad.

The best solution to a droid team with Poe, is another high dmg team with Poe. He is really the only counter. Or you need someone who can remove the taunt. The droids are very squishy and can be focused down quick if they are not protected.

Yeah, recently got my 86 to 7* and need one more level for gear 8. He hits very hard, and if he calls another droid on assist, especially 88, the damage is huge. That combo will kill most toons in one shot.
