Where to find example of importance of mods?

Where can I find an example demonstrating the importance of good mods? I am thinking of something like a video showing the same team, same gear, same opponent. Run the battle with okay mods, and then again with good mods.
I want something I could point my guild members at where they could see/experience the difference. Something to convince people (rather than just telling you they are important, something that will give them the feeling). I had read/seen guides showing that high speed secondaries are important, which convinced me, so I worked to get them. However it wasn't until I tried a HAAT phase 2 run with robot team (g9-10) and decent mods, retreated, then tried the same run using my arena mods, then I could feel how important they are.
I figured a video of something like this would help give others that feel. Has somebody done this? Or do I have to figure out how to make one? Thanks.

(For this, one would probably want to chose an opponent which is fairly consistent, like one of the raids.)
  • Just tell your guildies to look at the top 5 teams on their arena shards.

Then ask them why nearly every character (if not every single one) on those top 5 teams has mods that grant a combined total of 100+ speed.

If they don't see the light, ask them to explain how their top 100-500 team is better than all of those top 5 teams. Post their responses where the rest of us can read them for our amusement.
  • Do they really need a video? The more speed you have the more turns you get. The more turns you get the more damage you do. Critical damage mods = more damage on crit. Defense mods = the ability to take more damage. Seems kinda self explanatory to me.
  • Cubsfanhan and crazy excuses did a video of CLS versus Jedi training Rey where they did several different fights with equal mods, best mods they have, no mods etc.

It's only CLS and JTR but that's the closest I know of for what you're looking for
  • There are many raid strategies that require toons above a certain speed, that's a good example.
  • @kyno - haven't seen any videos demonstrating that. Can you suggest an example? (e.g. one that shows result below needed speed and above)? Thanks.

Thanks Boba - I had not seen that video. It sort of shows kind of thing (when change CLS mods without changing Rey's), but not really clear (since run on auto, and didn't do enough reps to show wasn't just RNG). I guess a raid also makes nice demonstration because difference shows in the number of points you achieve (rather than, e.g. how fast you beat an opponent).
  • i take seven star thrawn with phoenix at gear 8(kanan 7) with my arena mod at the first battle. In my guild nobody have mods like mine and nobody take thrawn with similar gear, only who have phoenix at gear 9 and 10 can take him. I've not a video but the different is huge
  • Check out the art and media section. https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/categories/player-content

That will begin the road of hours of time lost to watching videos about the game. Not sure why you would need a video, if people post a how to in words there is a reason they say you will need X mod types, or a certain stat at X value.
  • If I knew how to record I could film my minimum effort scoundrels losing in a credit heist then show me switching over arena mods and winning but I just did that so I can't I record it.
