I've not heard any reasoning for this and it may have already been discussed, but why don't Zetas affect power rating? I mean they completely alter the group you are facing and would (I think) change how irritating GCW can be (yes I hate it...I absolutely hate GCW but I have to have the rewards from it so I risk punishing myself and being tempted to rage uninstall the game every day). I know eventually I'll be able to beat these zeta teams, but facing a team with 5 zeta chars when I've got one across all my guys is really frustrating and annoying. So if someone can help me understand the reasoning for not counting Zetas against power rating I'd really appreciate it. Or is it that they do affect power rating and I just didn't realize it? Didn't seem to change on my Zader when I added it to him?

Power is an extremely poor way to tell how difficult a squad is, because it pretty much goes off their health and protection. The best thing to do is to individually look at their characters and their ability levels.

Nobody looks at power anyway. It's no real indication of anything. Ability levels don't contribute to power, so that is why zetas don't.

The fact that power means nothing is kind of the point of the post. You're matched in Galactic War based on power level, but Zetas don't reflect in power level, so it's easy to get matched with some ubered out zeta team when you don't have a single zeta. Today I got matched with a Zeta Barris, zeta fives, single zeta nihilus, single zeta r2, GK team. I do have a zeta kylo but that's it. Their power level for matching purposes in GW does not reflect how powerful that team really is because of the zeta abilities.

Why don't Zetas affect power rating?

No, but the mid to latter nodes are going to be above your power level anyway as a challenge. That squad looks rather easy with the right setup.

The lower the power is, the strongest the squad is. (end-game arena, obviously) I used to have my team at 51k and i thought it was cool, today my team has 48k and it's 5 times stronger than before lol.... It's all about speed.

While power shouldn't matter, it does have an effect. Lower power teams are targeted and attacked more.
