Will Hermit Yoda ever be needed for anything?

Assume he might be needed for Lukes next journey

If he is ever needed theirs going to be something to panic farm along side. So if your a person who unlocked Journey heroes the first time around then you should have Hermit Yoda 7* because your always prepared... but if your someone who gets them the 2nd time around then it doesn't matter, you will have time to farm them if they are needed.

As of right now...not really, gear makes a lot more sense, for your arena team at a minimum at least.

Going forward though I'm sure we'll get some new Jedi and hopefully some reworks at some point...so if the Jedi faction as a whole improves HY might be more worth it. Also, like others have mentioned, he'll probably be needed for Jedi Luke at some point, and I can't imagine that wouldn't be a worthwhile character to have.

Use it to gear your Arena squad, once you're at a comfortable rank, flip a coin on farming HY now or waiting a few weeks. There's no wrong route you can take. I don't see them doing a pack for HY but I could be wrong.

Hermit Yoda being needed for Jedi Luke Hero's Journey is pretty much guaranteed. You only need to look at previous hero Journeys to see this coming. And in Empire Strikes Back which character does Luke spend the most time with? Yup, Hermit Yoda. It is the sole reason why I'm farming him. Maybe I'm wrong but I think it's a pretty safe bet.

As for making money, sure they can. They can offer the choice of purchasing Hermit Yoda packs.

I'm calling it right now, You'll need 7 star Captain Han Solo, Rebel Officer Leia Organa, R2D2, Hermit Yoda, and Commander Luke Skywalker.

I don't think this will happen anytime soon though, due to the mathematical impossibility of farming Rolo and HY anywhere near 7* at the moment. But once enough time has passed I believe it's inevitable Hermit Yoda will be a requirement

I think he will be needed for either Old Luke's or Jedi Luke's Journey.

I agree with everyone else. It’s pretty much guaranteed you’ll need him to unlock Jedi Knight Luke at some point. Who are the other characters you’ll need? I’m guessing they’ll finally give us a Rebel Chewie and/or Slave Leia that we’ll have to panic farm to recreate the battle to escape Jabba’s Palace; Endor-themed toons to recreate the Battle of Endor; etc.
