Definitely switch. Start with phoenix and remember your new shard opens at level 28 so avoid long periods of time off once you start arena. Here is a spot on f2p guide that was just updated. I recently restarted and mapped out my grind schedule, when I saw this video I was amazed how similar it was to mine lol.
