Why isn't Pao a more popular character? On the surface, he looks like a strong mid-level character. He's an attacker whose primary stat is agility. It increases his damage, critical rating, and armor.BASIC: His basic attack can hit up to three times.FIRST SPECIAL: His first special is Sa'kalla. It grants Offense Up to the entire team for two turns, and Pao gains 40% Turn Meter.SECOND SPECIAL: His second special is Sonic Grenade. It deals damage to all enemies with a 70% to inflict Defense Down.UNIQUE: His unique is For Pipida. It gives Pao 5% turn meter a cooldown on all skills every time a Rebel ally uses a basic attack.It seems like he'd make a great addition to a mid-level Rebel attack team with Wedge, Biggs, Leia, and Lando. So why have I never seen anyone using him?

IMO, some of characters hold himself solid without zeta, zeta makes them even greater, and some others only shine after zeta'd, and Pao belongs to the second one.If you have zeta he's fine, if not then better bench him.I have him zeta'd, for me he's more like a support char than an attacker. (always shout first lol)Was pairing him (ofcouse zetad) with CLS, R2 chaze in the arena (highest rank 23 because too lazy to maintain it) before swiched back to resistance because of BB8.Now I think I am going to zeta Bodhi to pair with him...

Just started farming Pao for the sake of TB Platoons. And when I finally 7* him, I'll shout "Unlimited PAO-Wah"

Even if whale or kraken status, you deserve a whole new character named after yourself.

He's really not that bad. I have him doing 6k+ on each of his hits from his basic, and I love running him in a Rebel team in TB, especially if I use my Zeta Han and Leia in the same team. He's always giving out Offense Up, and he hits decently hard.

Pao looks like he'd be effective behind a CLS lead. The usual CLS counter-attack squad with Chaze & Raid Han would have Zeta Pao taking very frequent turns with oft-refreshed cooldowns. Use those turns to throw some Sonic Grenades and suddenly all enemies have Defense Down. That means anytime CLS counter-attacks, he's stunning his target.

To Phoenixeon's point, though, the combo only reaches it's real potential with the boost from Pao's zeta. Once you commit to that zeta, though...the countering and stunning would tear apart a lot of squads relying upon AoE attacks.

Without Luke, you can get by well with Ackbar as your leader. Leia will still be your primary damage dealer, but Pao is a good second.

Someone did a Pao team a while back with Bodhi to fuel Ackbar's leader ability. I think they said his ability that has someone else attack (Spotter?) doesn't trigger Ackbar's leader, which may be a bug (since the ability isn't an attack) or may be purposeful (since the ability just has someone else attack instead of him). Either way, if it doesn't work yet then it's unfortunately not a good combo. But if they fix it, that team can be pretty sweet.

My two cents- why is he a character toon anyway? He was in the movie for 10 seconds. Other much more charismatic characters could have been used as toons for this game.
