Zader in rancor phases
So I was thinking, why are the dots removed when you go to another phase (during the rancor not the piggies). It is the same rancor and dots shouldn't disappear.

His ability reapplies them When they expire it says nothing about them being reapplied when cleansed
It's poorly worded. They use "expire" to mean both naturally and artificially. Wording definitely needs to be fixed, but probably never will.
Seems they're having a lot of that lately, leading to a lot of "bug" fixes
