Zaul counter?

Has anyone tried a Plo Koon lead to counter the current Zaul teams in arena?

While Plo is soft and squishy, he is only one of five and could conceivably be supported by some seriously murderous characters.

With no stealth, Zaul should be a cakewalk.
  • I've been running Rex lead with Boba, Shore, Vader and EP and I've easily been able to beat Zaul/Nihilus teams.
  • We have a guy that tried Plo for a minute, then switched back. The stealth removal is too rng, and without QGZ it's easy for the Sith to outspeed the Plo comp.

To win consistently, you need to remove as much rng as possible, and make the turns and effects go the way that you want.

Good Zaul counters are Rex leads, Wiggs/Chaze/GK, and QGZ, GK, Yoda, JKA, Aayla/Snips

Really!? I would have figured each toon having a decent chance of de-stealth-ing each other toon (in essence, layering the rng) would have been effective to some degree.

What's he like when defending the Zaul was more the direction of my question and although you make an interesting point about speed, Plo's speed and Health total are irrelevant if he's the leader.

Good to know though, thank you. I am not quite at the point of facing the Zaul teams but I know it's getting close. That's why I went with Rex and the B2 for a start.

I was curious about Plo vs the B2 though so, thanks again for all the replies.
