Account linking issue

I reached out to support over a week ago, no response…

I had an Apple ID and my ea account linked to my swgoh account. I was switching what Apple ID my device is using, so I unbound the Apple ID from my account by following the steps in game. When I tried to sign back in with my ea account with the new Apple I’d, it keeps giving me an error that the account is still linked to the original Apple ID.
