Background Audio Stops

We have attempted this on both the newest and previous version of SWGoH and audio from an audio app continues to play in the background once SWGoH is active. 

We will continue looking into this.

This is not the first time this bug has been introduced into a release.

It’s kind of ridiculous and is greatly hindering my enjoyment of the game. I have audiobooks and other media that I am using to learn and grow while playing swgoh. Now it seems I will have to find other options. This is a real mess CG

i totally agree with you! i am an avid podcast listener and one of the ways i justify playing swgoh so much is that i do it while “learning” as i listen. not being able to do so is hindering my enjoyment of the game so much that i will no longer play the game until it is fixed. 😕

Well put.  Exactly the same for me. I mainly play with game while listening to my morning news podcasts. If it’s a choice between my podcasts and swgoh, I’ll quit the game.

For everyone having this issue. Doja posted about this on the forum and there is a workaround. Once in Galaxy of Hero’s on headphones you can press the play/pause button and the previous audio will resume. It will not work trying to start the audio from the quick access shade. 

It works, but then cuts out again if you navigate within the game
