Barris infinite loop phase 5 conquest

The first starkiller team on the golden challenge path in phase 5, hard mode conquest is impassable. Barris locks in a basic attack loop and nothing can be done. I've tried 3 times with 2 different leads and wasted 60 energy (that I bought with refreshes). It is impassable as well.
