So why not ease the pressure for everyone by doing a rollback. It gives you time to correct the problem, and it help players unhappy about the pressure from the game, and, especially, it allows players with this problem to play again.
I have somewhere seen responses from the support that the fix for our problem isn't due any earlier than Nov. 27th - if that should be true then doing a rollback to yesterdays version would be the only thing preventing a major blowout. There are guild leaders and other important players (main damage dealers, some holding important toons for the platoons/battles) affected - so by not rolling back when the first DS TB is going to be happening from tomorrow onwards would be not only detrimental to the players directly affected but also to guilds of up to 49 other people who will be without guidance from their leader!
As I am a software developer myself a rollback can't be that hard, it's not reflecting good on the developers but at least they can prevent a lot of collateral damage. I wouldn't hesitate to initiate that if I were you and the timeframe would be as devastating as suggested by the support post I saw!
