Cannot activate or promote any ship due to character activate bug

Summarize your bug Every time I got to the ships menu and select any activated or ready to active ship (Executrix), I get the tutorial prompt that ship needs character activated - even though my Moff Tarkin character is activated and leveled up. OnceI get redirected to the character screen, it stays there with the finger pointing at promote (not activate!). Same issue if I go to the character screen first and click activate, it’s goes into that loop again.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1. Go to any ship - whether activated, ready to activate or even one without shards to unlock. 2. Immediately, the tutorial kicks in and says ships need crew to be activated first and redirects to the character. 3. Even though the character is activated and leveled up with xp, the finger points to “promote” and not “activate”. 4. Click on promote and if you promote a character, the screen is now locked and only way to recover is to force close and reopen the game.
