I can confirm that it doesn't matter if she's present or if she gets the kill, it doesn't trigger success for the feat. I even tried it with just her going solo, and nothing. I know it's been tagged for investigation, but I'm just trying to share more information.

Good news! I can confirm it's now working with the hotfix that just rolled out.
