Perhaps I should give a bit of context for my post. I decided to Zeta my Thrawn in order to improve stats of my Chimaera in fleet arena, so I was shocked to see that stats have not improved a single point, despite Chimaera's power rising considerably above others in my fleet arena server. If I knew it would be the case - I would have spent the Zeta materials on Palpatine instead. I was disappointed by this, so if it is the intention or even suffering of EA to allow such disappointments of their end users, then this would deserve some penalty to a 5 star review in Google Play.
Yes it is useful to reach a higher total deployment GP band in Territory Battles/Wars, but it would be better if it was not misleading in any other areas, specifically when deciding how to spend the rare Zeta materials for the sake of fleet arena.
Regarding the power of reinforcements or ground units - while these considerations might be true, they all deserve a totally separate discussion and thus fall outside of the scope of the original post, because they involve additional considerations and calculations and are not relevant. This is because in those considerations it is likely that at least a single stat is in fact better due to mods etc.
The original post is very narrow and focused on the power of one specific unit, and even a specific example of Chimaera, showing how a higher total unit power is not justified by no single stat, none at all being higher.
