We've already flagged this as a bug.
Just out of curiosity @CarlsRight3ye: Did you use Ezra as well in your team?
I was not using Ezra. My team was Jyn (Lead), Baze, Chirrut, Lando, Hoth Rebel Scout. There was an AoE attack from the AI prior to the freeze up.

From the picture, it appears you did the more northern battle (since you are using the Hoth Rebel Scout, which is required there), right?
I am adding this to the current investigation.

I've encountered the same bug in the special mission on the lower part of the battlefield which is supposed to give us ROLO-Shards.
