Conquest glitch workaround

Currently the only character to defeat an enemy in Conquest during this glitch, is when Darth Nihilus uses Annihilate.

If you can take out the leader first, then usually the rest of the enemies can be defeated by anyone in your team. Otherwise you have to defeat another enemy with Annihilate, before the rest can be defeated.

Fun fact. If an enemy Imperial Probe Droid uses Self-Destruct on your team during this glitch, it will not disappear. Instead it will do an additional Self-Destruct on each of its turns, until the glitch has been broken by Darth Nihilus.

I hope that this helps you until EA resolves the issue.

  • There is no issue to resolve, other than hundreds of players applying the Training Droids data disk without reading what it says, then running to the forums to post about it without reading the threads that say exactly the same thing and offer the solution.

Blaming players for a clear technical issue that they have to research to resolve in this game is crazy. Forum posts are the only way we find these things out or to document so they might get fixed. You'd be a perfect candidate for EA support with that attitude.

I agree, it’s too much to expect players to read the data disc descriptions 😂

But that's just it. In this instance, imperial probe droid "instantly defeats itself and can't be Revived" per the wording of its self destruct ability. The data disk allows instant defeats to still knock out a unit. It really is too much to read into correctly. Alternate facts op

What was the lineup where you encountered an IPD? If it was a summoned IPD, they are subject to different rules than the unit itself - take any mission in RotE involving an IPD as your reference.

If you can't defeat the leader with anything but Annihilate, Jabba's pet Rancor, or any equivalent insta-death skill, then it is a bug.

If a level 85 character with Relic Amplifier at 8, can't defeat a level 65 leader, then please explain to all of us why this is not a bug in your opinion?

Because I’ve read the description of the data disk, rather than blindly applying it because it was purple and only has 1 dot.

The disk tells us Enemy units cannot be defeated whilst the leader is still alive, but can be instantly defeated. That’s exactly what happens when you equip the disk.

You may have interpreted this as meaning the leader can be defeated by normal means, but that wasn’t my interpretation. The enemy leader is an enemy, so is subject to the same defeat conditions as everyone else.

This disk has uses - it will help players who need to complete feats that require applying debuffs multiple times without exhausting lots of energy doing so because enemy teams are defeated too quickly. You, and others, seem to think that any and all disks that come as rewards from completing feats should automatically be helpful if people just apply them without reading what they do. This isn’t the first disk that can negatively affect your team, and it likely won’t be the last, which is why it’s important to read what they do before applying them.

As for the question about relic level and character level, I don’t see how that’s relevant in this situation.
