Check and see that you dont have the Training Droids Data Disk applied, it prevents regular defeat of enemies.
Read the description of the Data Disk. It comes in handy for those "Attempt to inflict X, Y many times" Feats, but not much else.

Having the same issue on Sector 2, steps 2 and 3, ....tried using light, dark, phoenix, inquisitors, doing over 100k damage on each round, and clock runs out. Def a glitch (I did see I had training droids engaged, deactivated, no change)

Are you sure you removed the disk? There is an energy cost associated with it.

Same goddamn thing is happening in solo challenges, too. Era challenge level one, the last enemy just endlessly resurrects. I let it auto play for 30 minutes and it would not end.

Not the same thing. The Conquest thing is players not reading what data disks do.
The Era Challenge thing is CG not thinking about how the event they designed will actually play.

If your using the F-34T data disk. It wont let you finish a battle and you time out. This data disk is there to help complete feats that require multiple attempts to beat. Example wouls be the ( attempt to gain foresight 200 times ). By using the F-34T data disk. It will alow you to achieve that 200 in 1 or 2 battles vs 15 20 attempts.
