There seems to be an issue with drop rates in the current event. if you are farming GL tokens, you have a much higher drop chance. according to the event description, drop rates have been scaled to the energy spent. so it's damn near impossible to get 12 shards out of of 120 enery on a 10 energy node, 7b in this case. but statistically there is a chance...
13 out of 12 battles seems a bit strange though
