Summarize your bug Error code 106 is coming up again when attempting GA and TW battles. Used to only happen when using WiFi but as of the latest game update is now happening on full 4G mobile data.

Error code 106 is coming up again when attempting GA and TW battles. This was happening quite frequently in the Fall but stopped once I started exclusively using mobile data for GA battles. Since this last game update it is now happening on full 4G mobile data.

Error code 106 is usually received when an asset download could not be completed due to a bad network connection. Can you please make sure nothing is interfering with your WiFi and mobile connection? That should resolve the issue for you.
