Failed to sign in

What type of issue do you have? Network/Connection
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug I played this morning, about 6h ago. I continue to get the same message when I try to log in. Failed to sign in. Check your network connection and try again.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? The bug happens every time I try to sign in with Google.

I have tried clearing cache, restart phone, uninstall reinstall.

    This appears to be a network issue, not a bug. Upon checking your account, I can see that you were able to get back into the game, which is great!

    Turns out it was an error with Google play games. A call to Google support solved it.
