Can you provide more information? Gear find works for me.
Please provide some examples of which gear you are trying to search for, your ally code, and your specific Android device model.
Keep in mind that the find option only shows where you can find them at that moment. So if gear is not currently in a particular store at the moment of searching (even though it sometimes appears there), then that store will not appear as a source in your search. Similarly, only active raids will appear if that gear is a possible reward from the raid.

With the find button now available for all levels of a piece of gear, you are most likely not clicking down to the right level first.
