Forced to leave guild and join another one

I recently completed the quest for getting five characters to five stars. Upon claiming my rewards from the quest, I was ejected from my guild and instantly transferred into a new one against my will. I didn’t realise it at first until I clicked the guild button to do my daily stuff and all the progress on the events were gone, I would just leave and rejoin my old guild (which I have been a part of for years) but now I can’t find it. Has anyone else encountered this issue? I didn’t even get to complete the quest for joining a guild, I assumed I didn’t get to claim it prior to this because I was already in the guild before the update with quests dropped but it still hasn’t triggered from being automatically forced into a new one. The whole situation is just super confusing and frustrating, especially since I’ve invested so much time into the raids, and I can’t seem to find anyone else who has gone through the same problem.
