Galactic war gems

Some time ago, there were some items for sale in the galactic war store, priced at 200 gems. This was discontinued, perhaps like 2 years ago. Since, I have had an odd number of gems that I cannot spend. These gems  are gifted to us as part of the daily collect, at 1200 each day. As things in the store cost only 400 gems, you can see the issue. I waited for a long time for another promotion to come out in the galactic war store, where things would cost 200 gems but alas, it never transpired.

Recentky, I reached out to SWGOH help desk. At first, after explaining the situation, I was told I would be granted the odd 200 gems. But the gems in question never appeared in my account and the threads were conveniently deleted. After more questions and discussion help desk revealed to me that they could do nothing about the situation and all they could do was send along to their concern team, and that all I could do was post on the forums (which I’m doing now, in an effort to get some sort of resolution in place). 

I think my question is….. is anyone else having this issue?
