This has cost me my GAC round
Same problem. Occurred twice in a row and now impossible to win GAC.
Same happened to me and I am going to lose my first round because of it
I've had the same issue interestingly only for one particular GAC sector and squad. I've used 3 teams and never got to battle. Had to close the app each time so it shows a battle happened but now I don't have any teams left to use against them even if I do get the battle to load.
