Game is really "buggy and balky"

For the last 6 days I have had nothing but crashes and freezes when I attempt to play the game. I also get a series of error messages telling me I have insufficient crystals (I have over 10k), not enough energy (untrue), or a poor internet connection (also untrue).  I un-installed and re-installed the game, rebooted the game, ran malware and virus scans, cleared out memory, etc. all to no avail. When I try to claim the free chests at the SWGOH store, it tells me I can't because I don't have enough crystals for the free chest????? !!!  

I am able to log in and maybe complete one event at a time, but as soon as I complete the event,  I have to restart the game, meaning it takes virtually all day to complete complete the daily events.  

I have been playing since the game started about 10,5 years ago, but never experienced this level of ongoing issues.  I'm about ready to quit because it is no fun having the game continually freeze up and send error messages while trying to play.
