Game will auto-rotate even when phone setting is off

Summarize your bug The game screen started auto-rotating after the last game update. My phone settings are for it to not auto-rotate but it is doing it in game but not other apps etc. When it auto-rotates it will pause the game causing me to timeout of battles if this occurs.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Load up a Pixel 6. Set it to not allow auto-rotate. And then get in a battle and the game will bypass the phone setting and autorotate anyway.
