I have the same issue like the others.
i setup a full squad in 5v5 and my opponent set only 1 Squad and 1 Ship.
That isn‘t fair that I don‘t have a Chance of winning this fight.
You have to be penalized if you don‘t setup a full squad. Something like your opponent get 100% Win for every empty squad you don‘t put into your defense
You can absolutely win! You just have to defeat that one squad and fleet.
Your opponent is sacrificing 90 points per squad by not setting defense, and taking a maximum of 64 points away from you, although 60-61 is the most typical "perfect" score. That means that for every empty squad, you are getting a higher score differential than if your opponent had set the defense and you had killed it perfectly.
For example, let's assume you're in the bracket that sets 6 defensive squads:
You set 6 defensive teams (90 points x 6 squads = 540 points) plus 1 defensive fleet (100 points) for a total of 640 defensive points.
Your opponent set 1 defensive team (90 points) and 1 defensive fleet (100 points) for a total of 190 points.
If your opponent gets a perfect score on every combat, using only character who ends at full health and protection, he will score:
Character combat: 6 x 64 = 384 points
Ship combat: 1 x 66 = 66 points
Zone conquering: 300 + 155 = 455 points
Total offensive score = 905 points
Total score = 190 + 905 = 1095 points
If you get the worst possible score on both combats, you'll earn:
Character + fleet combat: 16+16 = 32 points
Zone conquering: 300 + 155 = 455 points
Total offensive score = 487 points
Total score = 640 + 487 = 1127 points
To sum: if your opponent does a good job clearing your defenses, you'll need to clear both of his squads. If your opponent struggles and clears but leaves a bunch of points on the board, you could probably only clear the character zone and still win. Your opponent is giving himself a very large disadvantage by placing fewer defensive squads.
