Hey, this is actually not a bug, just a UI limitation. Regardless of how many squads you can setup on Defense in Grand Arena, each territory can display a maximum of 2 squad holograms.
1 defensive squad = 1 hologram
2 defensive squads = 2 holograms
3 or more defensive squads = 2 holograms

We are working on improving the UI to reduce confusion, but meanwhile, the correct amount of squads that you can setup is displayed in the top right corner when you access the territory. For example 0/5 means you can setup 5 defensive squads.

It doesn't help at all. I'm in so much disadvantage now. The hologram table has to show the correct number of teams or it creates more confusion instead of helping, and I don't think the goal was to confuse the player base... It's a bug.

But now you know, so for all future battles, you'll be sure to check the actual number in the corner, and not just rely on the number of holograms displayed on the UI!
