In Fleet Arena, my opponent (named Desperado) uses Hound's Tooth (speed 140), Ghost (speed 163), and Tie Advanced (speed 175). All of my ships are significantly faster. My most recent (test) lineup consists of TIE Silencer (speed 193), Imperial TIE Fighter (speed 192), and SF First Order TIE Fighter (speed 180).

As expected, my Tie Silencer and ITF take their turns first. However, Hound's tooth always goes third - even though it has the slowest speed of all six ships (eight ships including capital ships). Both of us use Executrix (mine is speed 166 and his is 170).

See attached screenshot of a test battle. It is taken after my first two ships have taken their turns.

I believe this must be a bug. Assuming turn order is based on speed (even with an element of randomness thrown in) I find it unlikely that HT always takes his turn third (rather than sixth as expected).

  • This is working as intended. HT gains TM when it's allies are attacked. Since you attacked Tie Advanced twice, HT gained enough TM to go third.

  • While the answers here are correct in stating that HT gains TM when his allies are hit, there is still a bug where HT gains TM when you hit him, and not just his allies.

I will mirror match people with ships - for example - Chimera, with HT, Umbaran, & Eta2 vs all same, but my ships have better geared toons, so my speed is faster. My Eta2 (basic) will intentionally target opponent HT so the ally TM doesn't happen, BUT - his HT gains TM anyway. I see his HT TM meter jump when I attack and his HT with slower speed, then goes before my HT. I am not using a AOE attack, so I know my attack is ONLY targeting his HT.

So, this is either a bug, or the description, "...and gains +25% Turn Meter whenever another ally takes damage from an enemy attack." is written wrong.

Even if the description is written wrong, it would stupid for my opponent to go before me when I have the faster speed, no matter what I do. We cannot adjust speed of ships via mods like toons. It is a fixed increase based on stars and toon upgrades. So, the TM gain for HT should ONLY occur when ANOTHER ally is hit, but this is not the case.
