Hyperdrive bundle

Thank you for the suggestion and I did do that before coming to these forums. That is how I found these forums through customer support. They tried to tell me that to look on the bright side that I got the hyperdrive bundle where I pointed out that if I had gotten the hyperdrive bundle first then the character packages next, then I would have gotten value for my purchases. They did compensate me with some Crystals,  but it came no where close to what I lost from the hyperdrive activation. I just wanted to be fairly compensated, which did not happen. It's like going out and fixing up a car then taking it to get painted. You go pick it up and they dented it a bunch of times, but it has a new paint job. You point out that you just got it fixed up and show them the receipts of the work you paid for and they give you a free air freshener and say that's all they can do.

One thing I just wanted to add about an earlier post about the shard wipe. As the earlier post had mentioned about a person having 185 shards before the hyperdrive bundle, if they had done the hyperdrive bundle first and then spent the money on getting the shards that would be okay in your eyes, but since they got the shards before the bundle, it's okay in your eyes to wipe those shards away. Logically, it shouldn't matter. If they paid for something, it shouldn't be taken away.

@RoninRedux Just to be clear, this isn't about what's "okay in my eyes" or not. I am not an EA or CG employee, and I had absolutely no say in how the Hyperdrive Bundle was setup.

I help answer questions here on this board as a volunteer. I personally think that if you spent real money on something, you should be able to keep it. However, that's not how this was implemented.

Spending crystals on something becomes more difficult to track, since players have a constant stream of crystals coming into their account, so knowing what "purchased" crystals were spent on versus "free" crystals becomes blurred.

The Hyperdrive Bundle is working as intended, and provided character upgrades as described. If you don't like it, and don't think it's fair, the most appropriate thing to do is provide Feedback on the main Feedback forums (https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/categories/feedback-home), or try to pose your question in one of the Dev Q&A sessions to try and raise awareness.

This forum is purely for the logging of bugs (with the secondary effect of answering questions, because many "bug reports" are just due to an incomplete understanding of game mechanics). This means that the QA support who works on this board will not document any of your protests or complaints or feedback. There is not a bug here, so there will be no escalation. Sorry if that is frustrating.

Thanks for the link. I'll take this up there. Many of the shards I bought were actual character shards and not through crystals. I only confirm that they are saying two different things that contradict themselves when they mention how they deal with the character shards or blueprints. They say that no shards or blueprints are added then they mention that they "top up" the shards which in essence is adding shards. In coding, that would be a bug.

Also note, I didn't start this thread. Another person ran into the same situation as I had.
