Issues with account linking

I was attempting to swap accounts earlier, and used the settings -> connect -> unlink account button after the "sign out of google play" did not allow me to log into my second account. I then foolishly linked my primary account to my secondary accounts email... then when I realized I had made a mistake and tried to undo it, the game wouldn't allow me to unlink my account.

Is there any way to fix this? It's rather inconvenient having my main account (which I play daily) suddenly linked to an email address and EA account for my alt.
