you might think that, but even modern live service games aren't always coded in such a way that those type of things are easy to track and change. just look at dune, brand new game that had a similar problem and the devs came out and said they would have to get creative as a team to fix it. swgoh is decade old mobile game with poor customer support by your estimation. i'm with you man, i hope the situation gets resolved. if nothing else at least you got a 2k crystal discount. well maybe it actually evens out to about regular price.
update for anyone having store issues though, weirdly enough i was able to purchase in the android version of the game store. not sure why that is the only one working for me, but there it is.
