Lifetime Account Limit on Apple Gift Card Promo???

I have been trying to resolve my missing in-game promotional rewards from a $25 Apple Gift Card purchased on May 26.

After getting absolutely nowhere with EA help over the span of three days (surprise, surprise...), they told me to address the issue with Apple support. 

I spoke today with a Senior Support Advisor with Apple who told me that the SWGOH promotion is limited to one $25 and one $50 redemption for the lifetime over the Apple account. Yes, you read that right, Apple support told me the promotion limits apply across the lifetime of an Apple account. Because I redeemed a $25 card promo bundle in early May 2024, the $25 card purchase I made on May 26th of this year is not eligible for in-game rewards. 

Has anyone else heard or been told this? There's nothing in any promotional language I can find from EA or CG that indicates this lifetime account limitation. The limit on rewards per card denomination is clearly stated in some of the materials, but I've never heard about any account lifetime limit. 

If there really is an account lifetime limit, that needs to be clearly stated in future promotional materials when/if CG runs the Apple promo again.

(Side note: The apparent confusion over May 20th vs May 27th as end of promo period is not the subject of this post and not the reason given by Apple for not helping me. Given complete radio silence from EA/CG about this supposed discrepancy, we should expect them to honor the May 27th deadline published on the Forums.)
