Losing banner for no reason

The issue here is when a in a battle on TW and the last character is defeated by an action before the timer expires but, the action takes place after the timer expires.  This does not leave anyone left to battle but the team is gone and no banner rewarded. The same can be done in ships and arena but there it does not effect everyone in your guild just you and you can re-fight them a little faster the second time.

  • Same issue. Forcing us to tie is one thing, but forcing us to give 1st place to someone else is another. Please look into this, there is no reason someone should "win" due to a bug.

    Yes this issue effected the Dark Łѳrds Force guild in the last Territory Wars
  • This is one of the largest issues with TW currently. And to be honest the whole game. But I would accept a solution for TW. This is especially harmful if it happens on the last battle of a TW section and both the banners for the victory are lost but also the territory section as well. Super disappointing for the guild that happens too.

    Hiya,

    Now that Territory War has started, our QA team will be monitoring this issue.

  • Kozispoon this is an issue in every game mode. It's just super easy to see in TB. That's the point I am trying to make. Let me give you and example. Time reads 0:02 player makes an attack let's say GK Special "Lead the Charge" action and all call in assists takes longer than 0:02 to perform. But kills last remaining enemy on opponent team after time has expired. The opponent team is defeated but not in the time allotted. This results in a draw. What it looks like is reported back to the server is all enemies defeated time expired result is draw no points given or in arena or fleet it would be not higher rank achieved. Ok cool so how can we fix that? I have a solution.

    At the timer expiring different events need to happen in arena and Fleet and TW. On the client side when time expires the player should not be able to make any new actions. But all "in process" actions should be allowed to do finish. Let's say 7 seconds or so and then the result of all those actions should be given to the server and a win lose lose or draw reported to the server and points awarded or rank give according.

    Or here is another solution we say ok we don't fix Arena or Fleet Arena because maybe that's hard or we don't get a bunch of complaints about that area of the game and this issue so we make some new rules for TW only. This could work. How do we do that? Maybe we code in a double check that says if the area completed then let's check toake sure point were given correctly. This could be done on the server side. For example what was the starting number of Defensive Squads set if all are gone and Territory complete check that score is accurate vs theoretical. This would be similar to calling up to the referee in the skybox on an American Football game to ask for instant replay and check to make sure the call on the field was correct. Hope these two options make sense.
