Lost My Shards for Mara Jade Skywalker and Now I can't beat T2 of her event.

As the title basically explains when the reset hit I saw her packs show up so as usual I decide to get the 5 card pack like I have done the past 3-4 eras now. I get the shards it was like 7,7,5,7,7. When I come out the menu offers me to activate her which I think is strange but ok I'll do it. I do so and like a regular unit I was allowed to level her and raise her abilities so I thought ok then I guess I gotta do that this time. Suddenly, game resets and I get the era summary and whatnot.

So at this point I think ok it's back to normal I suppose but then I go to do T1 of the event no issue and then T2 I look for but suddenly I see I can't. Why? Because I guess since I bought the shards and activated Mara Jade BEFORE the era actually began, the shards I got were essentially wasted so now not only can I not do T3 or T4 potentially as I would've liked to. I can't even do the T2 that usual F2P players can. 

Honestly I never did a post here before or any request for help so idk what to do. But frankly this is really upsetting to me. I'm not even gonna ask for anything crazy can I just get the 5999 crystals back or something cause this is straight unreasonable. Such a rough start to this era for me. I literally could've spent no crystals that I earned playing this game and would've been on a better track rn I feel really crappy
