Right now, fulfilling any pre-requisites for the Journey Guide events won't provide any rewards (mostly titles, but other rewards are also affected). We are aware and are already looking into it.

Not sure where you saw that there would be an Omicron material as a rewards for unlocking her. The Journey Guide event rewards only shards for her.
I believe the OP is referencing the Omicrons for completing the Bo-Katan Mandalor prerequisites, as is bugged for most journey events.
