I believe it falls under the missing buttons bug that was posted about.
I was on the sector 4 boss of conquest. Game stayed there even after the timer ran out - had to restart game to get back to the main screen.
It happened at 2:48pm EST on August 13th.
I used a sith squad and after defeating the other enemies (other than JML) with a darth revan AoE is when it started to not have the buttons I believe.
