Missing Territory War rewards

What type of issue do you have? Missing Rewards
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Summarize your bug Did not receive Territory War rewards after being removed from a guild before being able to login and claim rewards.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? 1: Start a Territory War. 2: Conclude the Territory War. 3: Have an officer remove a member of the guild that participated in the TW before they login after the TW concludes. 4: Have removed member login and check inbox.

 After the last Territory War we had, which ended July 1st, some of us did not receive rewards. We believe it was caused by the guild restructuring, where after the rewards had been given out, those of us moving to another guild were removed before we had logged on to claim the rewards. When we did login, no rewards were present in our inbox to claim. I've already contacted customer support by phone, and they said they would be making a report, and that we should make a bug report here as well.

    This is actually working as intended. If you leave or get removed from your guild, prior to claiming the Territory War rewards, you are not entitled to them anymore.
    In order to avoid such a situation, please make sure you remain in the guild you are in until you claim the rewards, then switch if you wish.

    Hi there,

    This is actually working as intended. If you leave or get removed from your guild, prior to claiming the Territory War rewards, you are not entitled to them anymore.
    In order to avoid such a situation, please make sure you remain in the guild you are in until you claim the rewards, then switch if you wish.

    I have posted the suggestion to make the rewards populate at the end of the TW, without waiting for people to login, in the Feedback section of the forums.

    The way it is structured seems very terrible - I know I've potentially prevented people from getting rewards because I've waited for an event to end before booting them from my guild. Now I wait until those players login because I see these bug reports, but I'd warrant only a small population of the player base is aware of this behavior.

    This is quite unfortunate, I had assumed it was not working as intended as it would then be a possible method of griefing. It would mean that a particularly disgruntled person in a guild with the power to remove players from the guild, could in theory rob them of rewards for an event in an irreversible manner.

    Maybe it would make sense for players who had committed Rogue Actions for it to work this way, but not for anyone else.

    @CG_MindTricks , I’m not a part of this guild... but I’m not quite sure how this is deemed “intended“.

    If you were to work your full shift tomorrow at EA, then they decided to fire you at the end of the day, they shouldn’t pay you for the work you put in because they removed you from the company before payroll was due?


    I can assure you, without even being an EA staff member, that this was not an intentional development, and it’s just sort of how it ended up working. I really hope that for EA’s sake, that these people get the rewards they’re entitled to. They put in the work and are now being denied the entire value of the time they spent on a game most of them have probably spent money on. This post probably won’t even get looked at, which is unfortunate, the reputation your company has projected speaks for itself.
