Mobile Account Switching Problem

When I opt to import my main account it prompts "The selected account is already linked to an Apple account. Please log in to the linked Apple account on your device to access this game account" However, I am on my Apple account connected to SWGOH for up until this point has been the case for 5 years. I'm forced to restart the game which places me back on the menu for my alternate account.
