Mod slicing error

Summarize your bug I am trying to slice a 5e mod to 6e, and I’m getting an error I’ve never seen before. It says it can’t be upgraded at current tier, but I have all the mats needed for the upgrade. I tried to included a video, but the site wouldn’t let me upload. So I included pics to show process
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? See photos. First photo shows the mod at 5e, with the red dot saying it can be upgraded. 2nd photo shows I’ve got all the slicing matas 3rd photo shows error I get as soon as I press slice

    Hi @73kemosabe73 

    Can you assign it to a character that is g12 or above (if you have a character you want to equip the mod to) and then attempt to slice it?

    It isn’t equipped to anyone, just sitting in my inventory

    I went to go slice it on a character like you suggested and it’s now magically sliced. Not sure how that happened. I did get another error message trying to do something else this morning that forced a restart. I’m wondering if that finally pushed the slice through from yesterday

    The mod needs to be on a character g12 or higher to be sliced. Apologies, this was incorrect.

    Please let us know if you run into this issue again.

    Mods do not need to be equipped to a g12 character to be sliced. I have now edited the above reply to show the error.

    Ok. I thought I had sliced mods in my inventory before to 6e. I’m guessing it was the error and forced restart that fixed it
