I have noticed when doing the colosseum battles character attacks will stop doing damage. If you watch the percent attacks will do 1-5% damage then after a little bit will do none. Even worse is bigger attacks that were doing 5% will do nothing out of the blue. It is even more noticeable when a monster has less than 10% health and suddenly no attack can hurt it for 2-5 round.

You have to actually look at the buffs and debuffs of the boss and what certain things do and how mechanics works especially with multiple targets. For the dragon, all burst damage should be while it is burrowed and your team robs it of turn meter. For Dryax, keep the health drop as equal as possible. for Jotaz, no buffs as he hits harder and faster when he cleanses your team. ZTF 3 eras of known issues with this boss no fix slated and CG doesn't care.
