No personal guild raid tickets earned during challenges or pvp

Summarize your bug Thursday-Friday challenge - completing challenges does not provide any quild personal raid tickets. they ARE counting toward the guild count, but NO personal tickets. Saturday-Sunday PVP attempt - SAME issue, count towards the guild numbers, but NO personal raid tickets.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not sure - other guild members get credit for their contributions.

    Raid tickets and the daily guild activity are two different things. You earn tickets by spending regular and cantina energy. That can overlap with guild activity on the days where it's spending energy.

    Fleet PvE energy does not count towards tickets, and this is WAI. Hope this helps.

    Raid tickets and the daily guild activity are two different things. You earn tickets by spending regular and cantina energy. That can overlap with guild activity on the days where it's spending energy.

    Fleet PvE energy does not count towards tickets, and this is WAI. Hope this helps.

    On a day where challenges are the daily activity - I can complete 10 on the first day, 10 on the second day and get ZERO (0) personal raid tickets.

    Same situation with Squad arena starting on Saturday night. Can finish 5 on Sat, 5 on Sunday and get ZERO (0) personal raid tickets.

    This is NOT solved.

    The 'Accepted Solution' is certainly NOT a fix for the bug.

    Hi @tellebra.

    Personal Raid tickets are earned by spending energy and cantina energy in battles and are not earned by completing challenges and squad PvP battles (since they don't require energy/cantina energy).

    Just to be clear: You can check your personal raid tickets in the guild quest section, first quest there.

    The daily guild activity is the second quest within the guild quest screen and is changing every day.

    Just to add another voice to the conversation:

    There is no bug here. You are confusing guild activities with raid tickets. You must spend energy (cantina or regular) to earn raid tickets for your guild. You should be spending that energy anyway, in order to progress in the game, so you should never have 0 personal raid tickets.

    So can you explain - 

    On a day where the guild activity is 'Complete challenges' or 'Squad Arena' - I can complete my 20 challenges or 10 PVP's, and on the guild actvities window - I see my squad mates with values > 0 in 'Raid Tickets Earned', yet my raid tickets earned are ZERO.

    Seems like a bug right?  

    When I complete the activities on other days - I see that I can earn up to the 600 raid tickets.  But on Challenges or PVP days - my personal raid tickets earned = 0, and Raid Tickets earned = 0 whereas my squad mates have values up to 600 depending on their contribution.

    Bug.

    The two things are completely separate. Not related at all. What seems like a bug to you is just a lack of understanding, and we are trying to help you.

    The ONLY way to earn raid tickets is by spending energy. Arena battles, Fleet Arena battles, Fleet PvE battles, challenges, raids, buying things from the stores - none of these activities generate raid tickets.

    Every time you spend energy for a Cantina node or a Dark Side or Light Side combat node - those are the ONLY things that earn raid tickets. (up to 600 per day).

    Guild challenges and Raid Tickets = separate. On some days (like today) where the guild challenge involves spending energy - you can concurrently advance the guild challenge while earning raid tickets. But other days, the guild challenge is not related to energy at all. On those days you cannot earn raid tickets through the guild challenges.

    I'm struggling to find a different way to phrase this in a way that might help you understand better. Did this explanation help?

    I too am trying to figure out a way to explain this to you.

    On Thursday evening - the guild activity is to 'complete challenges' correct?

    Challenges being 8 challenges in the 'Challenges' table, and 2 ship challenges for a total of 10 possible on Thursday, and 10 more on Friday morning (before the reset).  Is this correct?  

    On Saturday evening (into Sunday before the reset) - the guild activity is to 'complete squad arena battles' correct?

    So - to your point - you are telling me I somehow need to spend energy on cantina or combat challenges.  Is that correct?  

    So then - WHY would my guild mates have values > 0 for when the activity is 'Challenges' or 'PVP'?  I'll post some screenshots on Thursday...

    For challenges - you are correct. 20 challenges is the maximum any player can collect for that guild activity. Completing 20 challenges will consume 0 energy, and will earn you 0 raid tickets.

    On Saturday evening into Sunday - you will complete some number of arena battles. Some players do 0. Some players do more than 10. None of those arena battles use energy or earn raid tickets.

    On both of these days, most players will also complete Light Side and/or Dark Side Nodes, and spend cantina energy on a cantina node or mod challenge. These nodes consume regular or cantina energy, and for each point of energy spent, will earn you 1 raid ticket (up to 600 in a day).

    Raid tickets are a completely separate activity. They are not related at all. Your guild mates are spending energy on nodes, and earning gear and character shards, on Thursday and Saturday. That energy they spend earns them raid tickets, and is not related at all to the daily guild activity.

    ugh. I now see how the mechanics work. This was switched around not long ago right? I get it.
