Pc game infinite black screen

I do not know if anyone else is experiencing this issue, but I have been getting an infinite black screen when running the swgoh pc client after the last update. The issue is fixed when I close out of it and open it again, but after a while of the game being closed if I were to play again it would stay on this infinite black screen until I close and reopen it again:

Again, this only started happening for me after the latest update.
