Placed in Wrong GAC Division

What type of issue do you have? Gameplay
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Summarize your bug GAC phase opened and I viewed the GAC page (did not join). It listed me as division 1. I removed mods from 2 characters that I do not use in order to stay in division 2. The game however is keeping me in division 1 despite having lower GP. I joined at the lower GP shown below and am still stuck in division 1.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Enter GAC screen with GP over 4.49mil. remove mods to reduce GP under 4.49mil, view GAC screen and verify still in division 1.

@nabokovfan87 Hey, thanks for the report!

Your division is locked in based on your Gp at the moment the season launched, which was about 3pm Pacific time yesterday.

You can’t make changes to your gp and click join and switch divisions - at that point you are locked in already. You need to have your GP below the threshold before the season launches.

Their statement is very accurate. "Rewards" is not as simple as saying the payout when the season ends. The way GAC works is that you have tiered rewards for league progression which are scaled to your GP. In terms of programming it is much cleaner to do so this way and that is why you have several reward mechanisms for GAC. The payoff at the end of the season is one box of rewards, the vast majority of rewards, zetas, omegas, etc. all happen through the rounds and by either individual GA rewards for placement or league progression. The main difference between divisions is those specific gear rewards (type and qty) which you receive when promoting in each league via the feats tab. This entire mechanism is there to encourage activity and pay better rewards for players who can compete efficiently.
