Re: Fear expire did not dispel buffs

@Mochigogomochi Hello there,

This is working as intended. Taunt and Advantage are being dispelled, but then immediately regained due to SLKR's leader ability.

Because FOST lost Advantage without scoring a critical hit (as it was dispelled), he regains it (due to the lead ability), which under the conditions of the lead causes him to taunt for two turns.

Hope this helps

  • Hi Chris, thanks for looking into this. However I disagree. Under SLKR lead he regains advantage after the end of the turn. Im attaching another three schreenshots from a video in which I won the battle.
    first one is my bastila shan applied fear on FOST and Sith trooper, note that both of them have buffs at this point;

    Second is DR used Force Storm, both Sith trooper and FOST took damage and fear was dispelled, all buffs on them were dispelled, note that FOST was shocked but Sith Trooper resisted the shock. Please note this is not the end of the turn yet because DR would use basic immediate next on FOST since there is Corrupted Battle Mediation on him.

    Third is that DR’s turn is over. You can see Sith trooper regain buffs from SLKR’ lead. But FOST did not because of shock and buff immunity.

    in conclusion I still think the issue in my original post  was a bug.

    Can you upload the video to youtube and post a link?

    Sometimes the buffs can change before animation resolutions, so that could explain it going up before Revan attacks again. AFAIK the Advantage/Taunt should be blocked by the shock and buff immunity though, unless there's a cleanse.

  • Hi did anyone watch the video I posted?  I just had another occasion again today. I found these occasions all have one thing in common - FOST resisted the shock. Therefore the question is:  DR’s unique - Villain states he uses basic immediately if target has fear, death mark or corrupted battle mediation, Is this immediate basic counted as second turn?  That would explain FOST resists the shock and regains Advantage at the end of turn.  But I don’t think the immediate basic attack should be counted as a separate turn. Please explain.
