This is impacting me too. I have an Android 7.0...and it's my work phone that I use, so I can't just make updates to it (the IT team would frown upon that sort of thing).
If you can't fix this for 7.0 users, I guess it's time to retire.
Post #6 Macklunky Yo, all their devices are operating on Android 8.1. I think the issue isn't with the version of Android, due to some iOS posters who are having issues as well as cross platform, tablets, phones, emulators all experiencing the same issue.
@AlyssaTate71No Android emu runs 8.0 that I know of, on the Discord channels (1000+ members) no one has an issue with accounts running v8 and above and no iOS reports with the same issue as it's a Google Play API call problem. I'm just relaying what may be useful info based on a massive user base, I don't have the exact details to resolve.
It only seems to effect users with connected Google accounts too, not Guest players.
