Re: Infinite loop 3v3 vs SLKR

@snsuns13No, this is not an infinite loop. This is similar to getting stuck behind a stealthed acolyte using a team with no AoE: you won’t win, but it’s because you chose a poor squad to attack this team.

@GladOS-013 I understand you are a volunteer here but your answers are beyond unhelpful.

Besides telling me that I "chose a poor squad", do you have any insight into why CG has fixed these *nearly* infinite loops before, but are letting this one slide? Examples off the top of my head are ST Han giving tm to teammates in the Sith Raid due to Trayas stacks of suffering, or Zeta Finn lead in P3 of the Sith raid with C3PO and the team gaining tm from all the exposes? I'm sure there are more but hopefully you get my point.

Were those just more "poor squads" or can you give me a real answer this time? What makes this poor squad with a loop different from those?

@snsuns13 I’m sorry you don’t feel my response here was helpful. Regardless of your opinion, it was still a factual response.

You accuse this scenario of being an “infinite loop.” It is not. It is observably finite, in that Luke gains 10% tm each time Daka attacks him. He will periodically take turns. The fact that those turns will not allow him to ever win does not allow us to redefine this as an “infinite loop.”

Not every squad is good for killing every other squad. Would you expect a Jyn, Baze, Chirrut squad - even at r7 with superb mods - to beat this team? So in this situation, JKR + Luke + Hyoda is not an effective counter to SLKr + Talzin + Zombie. We have established that the skills are all working as described - so if there’s no bug, then the only conclusion is that you experienced bad luck, or this squad was incapable of winning (and therefore a “poor choice” if you will).

In the past, players have complained about getting stuck in a similar unwinnable scenario when they had Jedi revan lead against Nightsisters, but when the battle had a stealthed Acolyte + Zombie remaining, they were unable to win. It was working as intended: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Nightsister-Zombie-Endless-Horde-Bug/m-p/7732018/highlight/true#M24636

As far as insight into why this scenario is different than the others, I can point you to the Community Manager explaining exactly why: "when we discover an infinite loop that allows players to trivialize end game content, we try to act as swiftly as possible." (https://forums.galaxy-of-heroes.starwars.ea.com/discussion/190450/c-3po-finn-and-phase-3-of-the-sith-raid)

Since this is neither an infinite loop nor “trivializing end game content”, comparing these two scenarios is a false equivalency.

    Hope this helps!

I think the bigger issue is the rediculousness that GLs are only beatable by gls in 3v3 so if the opponent doesn't have one it becomes instawin simply by having one and not by skill or tactics 😂

@snsuns13 Also, most other "infinite loops" are ones exploitable on offense. Allowing you to control the entire battle too easily.

There have always been teams on defense that become unbeatable with the wrong team comps.
    Examples:
Vader lead vs Rey with Bastilla.
    CLS Rebels vs Nest
    CLS Rebels vs KRU
