Oddly it only does this on my wifi. But on my iPad it works fine and only since the last update it's been doing this.

Hi @NovaBombAce and sorry for not responding earlier.
Glad to hear, it is working on cellular. Could something block your Galaxy S9 from receiving the Update via WiFi (3rd party software etc.)?
When you reinstalled the game, did you also clear your cache on the device to make sure everything was downloaded correctly? Since it is only happening on WiFi, it is most likely a connection issue.
I switched service providers and I'm good. Must have been something with the router. Guess will never know
